billFLO machine-readable, invoices get paid 30% quicker. billFLO invoices can be sent directly from any accounting system using the billFLO API. Using the XML based billFLO API, billFLO invoicing can be enabled for 100% of your users in less than a day.

billFLO provides an API to enable Accounting and Invoicing Applications to generate billFLO invoices. The API accepts XML-formatted data and returns billFLO invoices. The billFLO Invoice is returned in the form of a string in an XML response. The requesting application then provides the billFLO file to the user via email or as a download.

Architecture
The billFLO API uses an XML file structure. Authentication is via https using a unique username:password pair. The XML data is POSTed to the API.

Authorization
Each accounting application has a unique username:password pair provided by billFLO upon completion of the registration process. The API uses the username and token to authenticate the Accounting Application. The username:password pair are POSTed with each request and are authenticated via http protocol.
